Speak To Me by Kwaku Quansah

Speak to me into existence

And I will speak forth your name in a different manifestation

Let me be the Isaac Mendez of words

To speak your name unto the future generation

And in large like the Mushroom cloud explosion

Speak to me through her smiles, her hugs and her kisses

To let me know love is alright

Speak to me with music, with love and with dance

You don’t have to use words to speak to me

Speak to me with the unimaginable things you have done

Speak to me through the laser beam that penetrates from the sun

Through those dark clouds

That appears on the surface of a beautiful sunset

Speak to me

So that every time it’s my name on your lips

Speak to me; let me able to mimic you

Because you are who I live for and the reason

Naturally unexplainable beyond imaginations

Insoluble is what I call it

Because there’s no scientific theories and proving

For all these

Me, You, Us

The animals, both on land and in the sea

Yes and the ocean, sun, moon, stars that bright in the skies

The galaxy, the human heart that beat

So speak to me

Let me understand how beautiful it is

To have animals in our lives

To have a dog as man’s best friend

But if I am able to have a companion like a dog

Speak to all my worries so I can understand

How animals are certainly angels in disguise

Sent from far away to protect us

So I even know you exist without speaking

And I can prove

Because even when you spell dog backwards

You will get a

G. O. D

And then I will speak your name into existence

For others to know who really are.

So speak to me.
